About
Since 1999 Dominic is occupied with designing and developing websites. In the meantime he learned much languages like XHTML; CSS; JavaScript; PHP und Perl. These are things which are important for his life now as food and internet.
He is addicted to programming since he knows computers, thus, since 1999. His interests for professional software development got woken while he studied. This was the time when wedabecha was written. He uses Linux since the beginning of 2004 and got Fedora installed on his private PC. In February 2009 he registers as user at fedoraproject.org and gets Fedora Ambassador and later a Fedora Package Maintainer to spread the word about Fedora and contribute to the project.
Since he had more time because of his dropout from university in February 2005, he got occupied with different websites and other projects. So he launched rockwebs.de the same year, a small but nice agency for web services as design and development. You can get domains and webspace at rockwebs.de also.
In November 2005 he begins a internship at KMD IT-Consulting oHG where he gets accepted as apprentice in Oktober 2006. Unfortunately he could not finish this apprenticeship as IT specialist for application development because of the closing of KMD.
As he searches for an apprenticeship in 2007 again, he remembers his childhood when he unscrewed eletrical cars and analyzed how they were working or when he played with his electrical construction kit. He actually also was able to repair electrical things. That was the reason he decided to make bids for apprenticeship as IT systems engineer too. Since August of 2007 he does his apprenticeship as IT systems engineer in a big telecommunication company.
